BMW now guides a 2026 automotive EBIT margin of −0.5% to +0.5% (previously 1–3%); before restructuring the operating margin stays above 2.0%. The cut includes about 2.5 points from portfolio and structural measures, 1.25 points from tariffs and 1.2 points from purchase-price accounting at BMW Brilliance. In Q3 the automotive EBIT margin was 3.4% (5.2% a year earlier) and automotive EBIT €901m (−39.7%). Deliveries fell 6.3% to 551,075, with China −25%, Europe +2.6% and the US +2.5%; group revenue was €30.45bn (−5.8%). Automotive free cash flow was −€566m in the quarter, but the full-year target stays above €2.5bn. BMW will phase out models on the current battery generation earlier because Neue Klasse demand is strong (extra shifts), and accelerate management-level cuts; 46.9% of European deliveries were electrified.

Wingtech disclosed on 3 Nov that Nexperia filed a claim in an Amsterdam court against Wingtech, its founder and former Nexperia CEO Zhang Xuezheng and two Chinese entities, alleging they broke internal agreements by setting up a separate, competing supply chain. Wingtech had sued three Dutch Nexperia entities in China in May for about $1.2bn, and a Chinese court froze about $300m of Nexperia assets in August. Shipments from the Dongguan packaging site resumed after last year’s export stop, but the split is not resolved.
